About Steph
Many of my early summers were spent exploring the creek bed with sopping wet sneakers, looking at insects, running through fields of weeds taller than myself, and checking my hair for spiders afterward.
These childhood encounters laid the foundation for my deep connection to nature.

After earning my bachelors of fine arts at Millersville University (2012) and completing a post-baccalaureate program at Syracuse University (2015), I've put roots down in downtown York, PA.
With 12+ years of teaching art and arts center management experience, I enjoy teaching students of all ages and occasionally hosting large events to nourish my community.
In September 2023, I opened my very own Artist Studio storefront in downtown York, PA.

In thinking about life, I find an undeniable parallel between the intricate systems that keep me alive and similar systems keeping even the smallest creatures alive.
This little green beetle crawls across my windowsill just now, and when I tune in, I can feel how fragile his life is, like my own.
With this lens, everything around me feels fresh, fragile, and imbued with meaning, and this deep well of empathy finds its way into every piece I create.
Sustainability
Caring deeply about life and nature, it's impossible not to consider the collective fragility of our planet.
At the heart of my art and business, you'll find a commitment to fostering environmental consciousness. Recycled, secondhand, and biodegradable materials and packaging are just the start.
I hope my art becomes a platform to inspire appreciation for the Earth's fragility, encouraging mindfulness and advocating for the global responsibility we hold to preserve the beauty and balance of our shared home.
