I'm Still Here

I'm still here... just exhausted, fired up, outraged, in mourning, and sending my love out in a thousand directions at once.

The world I so desperately want for all of us is impossible for me to manifest alone. I've been quiet while working to absorb that frustrating truth. This is a world where people love and respect each other regardless of their skin color, their gender, their sexual orientation, or their beliefs. This is a world where protecting our environment is of the utmost priority because we care for our children and want to give them a good life. This is a world where everyone eagerly puts a mask on their face and follows the rules because they know it will stop this endless massacre.

Maybe this world can only happen when we accept responsibility for the damage we've done and work like mad to make it right.

I can't wait to vote. I can't wait to keep having hard conversations with my loved ones about love, about hate, about politics and science, about doing the right thing. I can't wait to take responsibility for the damage I've done and work like mad to make it right. I can't wait to begin manifesting a new world in the small but mighty ways I can.
